Students @ ATRiCS

A group of 10 students, aged 10 to 18 years, has passed a 2 days course on an introduction to the world of air traffic at ATRiCS. We offered the course as a project in the framework of the school project days of the Kepler-Gymnasium Freiburg. While eager to learn about the fascinating world of air traffic in general, they most enjoyed being a pilot in the flight simulator. A visit to the local hangars with their collections of different types of aircraft became another highlight. The students also much appreciated and actively contributed to a profound discussion on the environmental impact of air traffic, on the need for sustainable solutions and positive examples such as atmosfair.de.

Conclusion: Air traffic has a strong appeal and fascination to people of different age and backgrounds which it will only preserve if becoming more environment-friendly soon.
